Three boys walked barefoot along the stones of a creek. One kneeled down while holding a plastic container in his hand. He filled it up and threw the water at them. The child closest got mostly splashed. “Gosh Robert you didn’t have to throw into my face. The other boy shook his head and said. Don’t you ever just quit? What’s the big deal Omar I basically cooled you off. Plus it’s hot as coals out here.” Omar kneeled down and flung water back in his face. “Well I’ve just returned the favor,” he said.

“Come on guys let’s just do what we came here to do. Collect enough of these salamanders and we’ll be on our way. While they listened to Brian they heard an airplane drawing near. It got louder and kept lowering. Without hesitation, they moved away and tried to shield themselves from the trees and branches that fell.

They stood up In disbelief. “Oh man this is bad. This is really really bad,” said Robert. “What do we do? Are they dead?” Omar put his hands up to head. What do you think Robert!” I don’t know, that’s why I’m asking you. “Who could even survive something this terrible?” “ Well,” said Brian, there’s only one way to find out. you,” Omar pushes him back. “What are you crazy? That’s way too dangerous. It’s partially on fire. What are trying to commit suicide?” “ He’s right, it’s not safe,” said Robert. Brian walked up to them. “What if someone needs our help. Their probably dying right now. Look guys, we may be their only hope. Are you with me or not? Because I’m going to see about it regardless.” Omar looked away where the plane landed and exhaled. “Honestly, if it was someone I knew I would try and help them. I don’t see any rescuers. As long as we’re careful.
