The Silent Wish

Every day in our day to day life, secretly we make a number of wishes. Sometimes for ourselves, and other times for our near and dear ones. Some wishes come true while others don't.

Rahul and Avi were standing at the red light, waiting for the red signal to turn green. Finally, their exam was over and they were quite excited to enjoy their vacation. So what's your plan ahead? Avi asked Rahul while scrolling down his facebook newsfeed. But Rahul didn't answer, he seemed lost somewhere. With no reply, Avi put his cell phone into his pocket and looked up at Rahul. He saw Rahul looking at the ambulance standing on the opposite side of the road and it seemed that there was a serious patient inside the ambulance. As the ambulance moved on its way, Rahul instantly closed his eyes and looked up at the sky. Avi was observing him doing so and he asked him, why he did so?

"I just prayed to god for the speedy recovery of the person inside the ambulance if possible or if not possible then free his soul, for his peace", he replied calmly. Avi was amazed at Rahul for his selfless wish and since then whenever he saw an ambulance, he also prayed the same.
