An Unusual Relationship

Aruna did not like him at all at first. Indra had started working under her father as a freelancer while he was studying at his postgraduate degree in the literature. Her dad was very impressed with him so much so that one day he brought him home. For Aruna’s parents, Indra soon became the son they never had. This obviously made her jealous. She was a rebellious teenager then, picking up a fight with every authoritative figure including her parents. And Indra was this golden example of virtue who came up at every corner. Aruna hated him, but also started to develop a crush on him.

Meanwhile, confrontations with her parents were becoming unsustainable and she decided to leave home. Through a series of unfortunate events, she ended up alone on the street one night with no money and no idea where she would sleep that night. Like an angel, Indra turned up and offered her a place to stay. So Aruna moved in with him in a hostel where he was completing his postgraduate degree in literature. To her irritation, she found that her parents felt rather assured once they heard that she was staying with Indra.

She had not expected such a turn of events. However, she had no option but to prepare for this new UNUSUAL RELATIONSHIP.
