Ayaan

Raima was lost in her thoughts. She draws the picture of a baby. She herself didn't realize when she draws it. She cried seeing it. It was so damn beautiful. 

Meanwhile, Rahul came. He was holding little Sahil in his arms. As Rahul saw the drawing, he knew what was going on in her mind. He stands beside her. Raima couldn't control herself and had broken into tears. Seeing his mother crying, Sahil too cried. Raima and Rahul tried to keep him calm and Sahil stopped crying as soon as he sat in his mother's lap.

 "I know Raima what are you thinking."

"What?"

"I know everything."

"Can you please tell me what do you know? I am fine."

"You are not fine Raima. You still could not forget him."

"Rahul, how could you expect me to forget him? You know what he meant to me."

"I know."

"No, you don't know. I am just....."

 Raima sobbed and she took Sahil to the bed. Both mother and son slept peacefully. 

That night, Raima had a beautiful dream.

 Sahil and his elder brother Ayaan were playing, laughing together. In the evening, Ayaan holds Sahil's hand and brought him home and they both hugged her. Raima felt elated as she prepared strawberry shake and a chocolate shake for both of them. They both had a little fight. Raima knew both of their tastes very well but that day, it was a bit different. They both were fighting for the same Shake. After giving the dinner, she put them to sleep. Usually, Ayaan slept on a different bed but that day, he requested Raima to let him sleep with them. Raima put Sahil in between of them. It was risky for Sahil to have a corner. In the night, Ayaan must have woken up because of thirst and he went to the kitchen to have some water. Meanwhile, Raima woke up and when she didn't saw Ayaan on the bed, she got worried.

She shouted for him and he came running to her. Raima hugged him tightly and cried. She requested him not to leave her and he promised her to be with her forever.

He will always be with her whether physically or mentally. He pampered his mother and she slept.

 In the morning, when she didn't see Ayaan on the bed, she shouted again. But this time, Rahul came instead of Ayaan. He calmed her down. She told him that she had seen Ayaan in her dream. Rahul knew what was happening. During that only, Sahil woke up. Rahul took him into his arms and gave him to Raima.

"I know this is difficult but this is the reality. Now Sahil is your only son. I didn't ask you to leave Ayaan there because of me. You know I never had any problem with him. You are his mother. I know you, both of your sons are equal to you. I don't know how to make you understand this.... it'll be better to live with Ayaan's memory ."

"But, I couldn't forget. How could I forget him? I simply could not. You know what, life is taking a dig at me. After Hamid died, I lost all my hopes. My only hope was Ayaan. My in-laws, they were never mine and my parents, they were so backward that they couldn't keep their daughter with themselves just because she is a widow. So they forced me to marry my brother in law. They were spoiling three lives -mine, my sister's and her husband's. I was losing everything from my life when I got you. You became my support. You know, still, it is a dare to marry a widow. And you did that."

"Stop Raima."

"Don't stop me. You know, I could live like a parasite at my sister's but I couldn't spoil her life. The day I ran from my home, my family took my Ayaan and I could not choose him after putting three lives at stake. "

"If you are not happy here, you can tell me. I won't force you but please tell me the truth."

"I am the luckiest woman Rahul who got your love. We had a son. You gave me my happiness. You don't know what you mean to me. I love you, Rahul."

"Love you, Raima. But please, stop crying. Wherever Ayaan will be, he will be happy. After all, your parents can do wrong to you, not to Ayaan. So don't worry."

"Hope so. Sometimes, I felt I had done wrong to Ayaan....."

"So tell me Raima, what if you had got married your own brother-in-law?? Would your sister ever be able to happy, seeing her husband with her sister?? Would he be happy and most important, would you be happy coming in between your sister and her husband."

"No, I can't...... that's it."

"I don't know why are you remembering the bad, remember the good. You even had some good experiences like the time you had with Ayaan. Cherish those moments you had once."

"I want to meet Ayaan."

"Raima, I am not sure but I will try to make you meet him. See, Sahil is crying. Take care of him."
