A Parcel

He received a courier in the morning. There was no hurry to open it up but it was like so special for him. At least she responded with a parcel. He signed in the paper where the courier boy told him to sign and he left with a smile.

He went inside his room and just recalled that he was preparing tea. He rushed to the kitchen. Thank god, he had put the medium flame. He poured it in a cup and again went to his room. Then he wanted to open the parcel which Divya had sent to him. Before he opens it, the doorbell rang. He left the parcel there and rushed at the door and opened. 

Neha aunty was there with a bowl of freshly prepared hot upma. 

Beta! I have prepared this for you.

She is 60 years old, still has that much activeness in her face. Such a loving woman she is. Treats him as her son who unfortunately she lost to cancer.

Thank you, aunty...I was just about to go to your home for having breakfast, with a pretty smile he replied.

He never felt like out from home instead he always feels like he is with his mom. A smile appeared on his face.

He finally went to open that parcel. There was a blue wrapper inside. It feels like he becomes filled with this blue color as its the favorite color of both of them. There was a box inside locked with a tiny lock. He searched for the key. Ohh! here is the key on the wrapper fixed with gum. 

He opened the box and there was a bunch of color papers nicely folded with a ribbon. He unfolded those letters one by one and started reading. Those were the replies of every single question of him. His shedding tears melted him within and broke all the agony inside. He could feel her unconditional love, even more, this time. His wait and excitement became multiplied after knowing that she is coming to him.

He looked towards the blue sky which was looking very clear this time...
