She smiled with tears of joy while putting badge on me in the passing out army parade. Streaks of white hair are seen in her but she's glowing with an epitome of pride and valour. I salute towards the sky thinking of my father up there beaming with smile.

"I'll join army one day like Dad."

I could see 6 year old me when my dad had got martyred.

That day, sky and land both gleamed in joy. One having my martyred father showering blessings on me and one having my mother standing in front of me seeing her husband yet again in her daughter.
