Thorns In Life

Papa is a liar. He lied me and went far away, leaving me all alone in this world.

But why he said from my childhood that life is full with bed of roses. He always taught me "do well and all good will come in return". When I was child I always believe in that, but when I grew I understood that papa is a liar. Nothing good happens if you do good for others. In this world no one cares about your feelings, your sacrifice etc. If you continue to do, then everyone will expect more from you. You will never be appreciated neither in family life, nor in professional life. Everyone will suck happiness out of you. Papa always gave me whatever I needed. I never demand anything because I got everything from him. During childhood I was very angry upon Mom. Mom always used to say “Beti.. Be careful : Roses are full with thorns.”

Today I can feel that Mom was true. The words of Mom were absolutely the fact of this cruel world. Truly life is full with thorns of roses. Wherever we go, we will get these thorns. And to stay with roses forever we have to clear the thorns. For clearing the thorns we require patience. But Papa never taught me patience. He gave me all and now when he was not near me what I will do in this cruel world? It’s very difficult for me to clear the thorns and though I lack patience I am losing my life. I can understand Papa loves me a lot but if I would have heard my Mom’s tone now I would have been much happier.
