A Close Shave

The greenery was beautiful that morning,

The sun was bright and shiny.

Grandpa sang a silly song to himself while getting ready.

Oh my workplace is so fun

Oh my forest here I come

I take care of the animals

I take care of the mammals

Oh my sweet birds keep whistling

While the rain is drizzling

Peter, Peter he called out. “I’m going to work and I will be back at 7:00 pm ” he screamed.

Peter came down with his cat and he pleaded to Grandpa that he would take him to work, he too wanted to know how his grandpa makes sure there are no poachers around. Grandpa did not want to take him, meanwhile the tiger who lived in the forest was happily playing with his cubs. The wolf hated the tiger he didn’t know why and how he would be so nice to animals and get all the attention. Too engrossed in this thought the wolf tripped and fell. Humph... he cried out.

Grandpa hesitantly agreed to take Peter to work.On the way there Grandpa was giving instructions like “ Do not wander off !” and “ don’t go near dangerous animals ” to Peter. Peter was showing his cat various plants and got too distracted. Peter realised soon that his cat had run off. He searched for her in all the bushes and all the caves but there was no sign of his cat!!!!

Soon he saw that the car had gone to the riverside where the wolf was drinking water! He had to save the cat. Otherwise the wolf would harm it. He entered the area and hid behind in the bushes. He mired his cat to himself by tying a cat treat from the cats backpack to a rope. The cat found Peter. He bent to pet her when dhdgfyfhrbdbdjyfgeveb! the wolf had tried to pounce on Peter. But right then the tiger came running towards the wolf and had pushed him right off his feet. The tiger had saved the day and Peter’s life.

The wolf was drowning in the water that tiger and he fell in, and was terribly sorry to Peter and was begging him to pull home out of the water. Peter did so and the saw a sharp tooth of the wolf floating I bathe water. Pete thanked the tiger endlessly and took off to to find his grandfather.

Grandpa was so angry with Peter that he pulled him by the arm into the tent and scolded him. Peter apologized. And they went home and lived happily ever after
