Brother

They are twins, but nothing remains equal with them with growing age.

One becomes the holder of name pessimism and the other one with the name optimism.

Pessimism does nothing serious, always finds fault with everything, he believes in negativity, he sees failure even in success. 

On the other hand, optimism never looks back, even if failure comes, he learns from it and fights with every odd to move ahead in life.

One day, optimism jumps from the ladder to save himself from the imminent danger at his working place and burning liquor burns and damages the skin on his feet. He becomes bedridden and the pessimism taunts him saying that 'don't be over smart, don't be so showy, don't be so extra sincere in your work, else you would lose your life, see me, I keep myself distanced from all the hurdles, I don't want name and fame, I am not avaricious like you.'

On the bed, the optimism goes through plastic surgery on his foot and doctor removes skin from thigh and plants on the foot.

Bearing the pain and holding the smile, he replies, 'Oh! My brother, I can't live a defeated life, I want to work industriously, I want to prove myself, God has given life for once and I want to live it with full heart, I want to earn knowledge, I want to cultivate success, I don't want to be idle like you, I solicit you to change your religion and leave all negativity and walk with me on right path to discover the beauties of life'. 

'Can you give me a guarantee that success will kiss my feet, can you assure me that life will be all rich and comfortable, pessimism asks his brother'? 

Optimism replies,'Oh! My brother, see my foot, I may take four months to walk on my own, but you have feet, so don't worry, I feel the beauties in everything that happens, even with my present failure, I draw inspiration and set new dream for myself, I don't want to lead life like a loser, I want to go ahead, I want to go ahead and Oh! My brother, don't worry about success, it will come, it will come along with real happiness, have patience and work sincerely'. 

Listening to his courageous and confident brother, pessimism replies,'Oh! Brother, I am convinced, but I want you to guide me always.'

Optimism smiles and replies, 'I am always with you, O 'my brother.'
