I'm Alive...

I was suffocating as the oxygen supply was exhausting.....I could see my spacecraft had set ablaze... due to its friction with a meteorite... most of my fellow mates had lost their lives... only I and one associate of mine were left alive to die a slow dreadful death...I couldn't imagine in my worst nightmares.... how terrible I felt...in the dark shapeless vacuum, I felt pressure on my body as if I was loaded with thousands of kilos of weight on me... I tried hard to get to. my fellow associate....but to my horror I found him dead.... blue and pale... with open lifeless eyes....and motionless... I had a lump in my throat.....I was gasping for breath.... struggling to stay alive.... but sadly...I had no control over anything...I was plainly moving... gliding....and going nowhere in the blind space....dark as dead night.... covering my eyesight like charcoal....pitch darkness.... life was sinking...I had tears floating but not rolling down my eyes...I knew...the end was near...

When suddenly....a beep was heard...I was startled with a jerk...a blue light was constantly sparkling on my wrist....it was my robotic astoscience bracelet... which indicated...my people on Earth have found out I'm in trouble.... within minutes... another spacecraft... zoomed towards me... It's automated steel silver doors majestically opened...I could see my fellas... my known faces... they immediately pulled me in within the trillionth fraction of seconds...I cried....and they too had red faces with emotions....in some time....the spacecraft landed on planet earth.... people from the astronomical science headquarters... came running towards us and our spacecraft...I was on my native planet...I had a swirl of emotions...I was taken in the Hi-end astronomical lab... where I and my saviors were kept in observation for a few days...

I got released a few days later...and was delighted to see my Lil daughter running towards me... with open arms and wide smile... with twinkling eyes...I hugged her tightly...and cried my heart out.... the tears didn't stop...I realized.... how priceless is something we live into we live with daily....and ignore it at times... but tend to know its importance.... only when we stare in the eyes of death...

We paid homage to the dead in the burnt spacecraft.... their families looked so broken and heavy with the burden of emotions.... desperately staring at me...but lacked hope of their endearing being alive...

I'm alive.... that's the biggest boon and blessing I have today... I'm alive...
