The Lost Memory

Dhiraj, Dhiraj. An old man sitting on the bench is looking for someone.

The old man got surrounded by a group of people belongs to different ages.

Siva Sankar Sir, have you completed writing the final part? 

Is Shivani going to kill the Vampires in her family?

Each one in the group is asking him questions.

Dhiraj. Dhiraj. The old man shivering with a strange feeling.

A young man reached with a water bottle in his hand and sent the people by convincing.

Dad, nothing happened. Don't worry. They are gone. Drink water. Dhiraj has given water to his Dad. After that Dhiraj held his father's hand and slowly walked towards the car.

Siva Sankar sat on the front seat and Dhiraj started driving the Car. As Car started moving forward Dhiraj went back into memories.

***One month back***

The reports confirm it as Alzheimer's. Your father might confuse more than earlier. He might lose the memory gradually.

Chief Doctor explaining to him his father's condition. Doctor, will he forget me? Dhiraj's eyes became moist.

It depends Dhiraj. As of now, he is not identifying as a popular author. I know his book series is quite famous. The Doctor has given a sympathetic look at Siva Sankar.

They reached home. Dhiraj told about the incident in the park to his wife. As he went to bring a water bottle, Siva Sankar is sitting alone on the bench. 

People are asking him about the book series characters and he is sitting helplessly without remembering what they were talking about.

Dhiraj's wife consoled him.

Do you think he will never recognize himself as the author? His wife asked.

I don't know. But, I must pray to God that he should not forget me. He replied while seeing God's picture on the calendar.
