Out Of Jealousy

I never have been in a state of jealousy. But I was in it some years ago.

When my sister was born (my cousin), everyone was very happy and excited. I too was. At that time, I was just 9. She was a lucky charm to our family. Before her birth, Mamu bought a new car and she came by car. Everyone said that she is very lucky. We also renovated our homes and bought so many new things.

On her birthday, Nanu Nani gifted her gold chain and many more things. By this, my mom wasn't happy. She was jealous that she or I have never been gifted like this. And she used to talk about it with me. I also was a small mind and took all negatively. I realized it was true and I started disliking her. I talked to Nanu about it. I cried in front of them and asked about the same gifts. And they gave me too. That day I realized I was wrong. There's no discrimination. Slowly slowly jealousy converted into happiness.
