Dignified Life

Many people do things simply out of the kindness in their heart, and do not realize they are inspiring others around them.

We met with an old man that is out of the ordinary.

It's about yesterday, after office, I went with my relative to a laptop repairing center which is in Maitrivanam, Ameerpet, Hyderabad.

After giving a laptop for repairing, as I was hungry, we decided to eat something.

After sometimes we both were standing in a shop near to the repairing center with 2 plates of Samosa and badam milk. There we saw an old man nearly 80's was holding left plates and tea glasses of people.

Then again we found him holding a tea plate for distributing people in that big complex.

I observed him, he was walking with full of dignity and there seem to be no signs of old age.

We took several sips of milk and kept that glass on a table, he came and cleaned in a minute. Maybe his owner irritated with the mess that's why he was doing his job so fast.

The old man's hands trembled, his eyesight was blurred, and his step faltered but still he was doing his job correctly. I want to help him and call him to join with us for a tea but at the same time, I don't want to make him feel bad as he is growing old.

I feel bad and at the same time sad too to see my elders growing old, but it's the truth of life and we have to live it full of dignity.

We stayed there for 1 hr and I felt working on any farm or any shop is not easy, the days are long, the chores are extremely physical and dirty. Several times we went there and observed his shaky hands never stops doing things.

God gave us the best when he gave us the quality of dignity and he is doing his job with full of dignity.

For me he is a hero, I just want to say to him, that I've actually learned a lot from you Grandfather.
