Case Unsolved

In the city of busy Pune, Ashika lived in a small house with her grandmother. She is a sweet girl and turned just 18 two months ago. Her grandmother is a modern lady and looks young..not that much...but ya a little bit. 

Ashika is now a grown-up girl and got admission in college. She's excited about the life phase she is entering. New friends, new place and most importantly she's 18 and is legally adult. 

Ashika is a beautiful girl. Just like her grandmother. She has flawless skin and is admirable. Her hairs are as glamorous like her grandma. Her parents aren't alive. But she has been cared for by her grandmother for the whole life. 

She began her journey of adulthood. Goes to college and is very happy about it. She was considered the best student in her college. She was also very intelligent. 

Soon her birthday came. She was excited about it. She received a lot of wishes from her collegemates through messages, bouquets and gifts. Her grandma was shocked to see it. That day she was busy in collecting Ashika's gifts and bouquets from the delivery men. She never thought of her granddaughter becoming so popular in her college in such a little time. Anyways, Ashika celebrated her birthday with her friends in the college and with her grandma at home. 

In the same college was a girl named Pratibha. She was hot and was a popular icon before Ashika came. But now the scenario was changed. Every boy, whether junior or senior, was attracted to Ashika. She was now proposed by many boys. 

Pratibha couldn't bear this much at all. She was kinda jealous of Ashika because she was losing her popularity in the college. 

And the rivalry began. She did so many things to make her embarrassed or lose popularity. She made her do more work. She ragged her in different ways. She played games on her to make her lose in the college competitions. She stole her stuff. And so more. She did hundreds of things but she couldn't win to make her lose. 

And the devil mind was struck by an idea one day. College fest was near. And Ashika was taking part in the modelling contest. And this was a golden chance for Pratibha to win from her. So she also participated in the modelling contest. As the day comes near, both were so excited about it. But Pratibha was afraid of losing because she knew Ashika was the most popular girl in her college. And the day came. Both were so good and reached the finals. Now it was a face-off between Ashika and Pratibha. 

Two hours to go for the finals and both were nervous. And then suddenly, Ashika screamed loudly and fell on the ground. She was taken to the hospital immediately. As the competition has to go on,...Pratibha was left only and thus was declared winner of the modelling contest. Soon after the news of Ashika's death came to the College students and everyone was in a scrumble. 

Pratibha was very nervous. She was continuously thinking of Ashika. She had mixed the acid in her makeup stuff. But she was wondering how it could lead to her death. Pratibha knew it's going to be a police case, so she ran away from the spot. 

Ashika's case was given to the police and they started the investigation immediately. 

After 3 months of investigation, the case was closed. 

And the inspector gave the statement;“ This case has been a mystery. We couldn't find the cause of Ashika's death. Her skin was spoilt due to the acid found in her makeup. Who did it, we never knew. However, Pratibha is still missing. Moreover, her death is due to the poison found in her body. But she ate only dahi in the whole day that her grandmother gave her!.”
