I was sitting near the window. It was a winter morning. I was sipping tea from my cup.

What left me amazed was I was holding a pen and a paper, but I was blanked out. I didn't know what to write, how much to write, why to write, about whom to write...... It didn't happen normally, but it happened that day.

Even my tea came to an end, I was upset as I need to leave my loving chair. I was just about to stand up when a kid of 5 to 7 years of age stole my glance.

Hey, I got an idea to write. I would write about myself to myself...sound strange... well, yes.

Remember, we used to play together. When you were a kid, it was such a good time. Even you are still the same person, but we got a lot of differences. Today, I feel, that I lead you in one way or the other and that Palak is left behind. You are much more mature than you should be. Well, I couldn't do anything about it. But, I m still waiting to see that Palak again.

She was chirpy, fun-loving, unconscious of her surroundings. I think I had seen her last 8 years ago, I guess. Isn't it too long. Well, you need to think about it. What had changed you? Time, friends, family, situations or hormones?

That Palak is now lost. I don't know where, but she is lost. Where is the girl, who used to draw her favourite characters on a sheet? Where is the girl, who was so carefree? Where is the girl who was strong( physically as well as mentally)? Where is the girl who loves to sing? Where is the girl whose self-confidence was much taller than her height? Where is that girl..........??

If you could find her, please tell her that I am waiting for her.
