Swami Vivekananda and a train journey

Swami Vivekananda was once travelling in a train and was wearing a wrist watch. This had caught the attention of a few girls present in the train. They were making fun of his clothes and his appearance! They decided to play a prank!

The girls asked him to give them the wrist watch else they would complain to the police that he was harassing them!

Swami Vivekananda however remained silent and acted as if he did not hear what they had said!

He then made signs to the girls to write what they wanted to say on a piece of paper. The girls wrote it everything that they said including the giving of the wrist watch on the paper, thinking him to be deaf and gave it to him. 

Swami Vivekananda got hold of the paper and then said to the girls to call the police as he had a complain to make!

The girls understood their folly and apologized.
