In the cold breeze of morning, an old man was sitting on a bench in a park, trying to keep himself warm by wrapping newspaper around his body. The number of Joggers was increasing in the park. Suddenly a voice astonished the old man, "Ramakant, you came so early today?"

Ramakant raised his eyes, His old friend Ganpat, who was his companion in laughing club was standing there. Ramakant said with sadness, "Yes." Ganpat understood his grief and for knowing the reason behind his sadness Ganpat asked, "What Happened, friend? Why are you sad? Is everything alright at home?"

Ramakant: "My son's wife Sudha again did quarrel with me."

 Ganpat: "Then what Suresh did?"

Ramakant said with sadness: "He said to me that he is done with my daily quarrels, and he said to me to leave the house."

Ganpat: "What you're saying? Suresh was a good guy. It has been just a year of his marriage and he said you to leave the house because of his wife."

Ramakant: "Yes friend. My son is good, but it's just because..."

Ganpat: "He got influenced by his wife. Do you think so? And you're saying such guy well? Just look at my Nakul, His wife also used to quarrel with me. But he said to her directly, that my parents wouldn't go out of the house. They don't live with us, we live with them. If someone will leave the house, then it's you. I will get another wife, but I will not get parents even after paying crores of rupees. And after that, she never raised her voice in the house."

Ramakant: "You're lucky man, but I'm afraid about my future. Where should I go at this age?"

Ganpat: "You don't need to think about that, you will go to your own house. Return to your home, and tell your son and his wife to leave the house. If it's needed then we will even take the help of the police. I have many contacts there. We will teach them a good lesson. House must be at your own name?"

Ramakant: "No friend. He was my only son, so everything was at his name. Even the house is at his name. Now, what should I do?"

Ganpat: "Let's do one thing. Until we find another way, you come to my place. My son Nakul wouldn't utter a single word. Even the house is at my name. So no need to worry. Don't sit silently, Get up, it's not looking good."

Ramakant said, "No friend, it doesn't look good to be at someone's place and become a burden on him."

Ganpat: "What did you just say? How can one friend become a burden on another friend? Just assume such an incident happened with me, and then would I have been a burden on you?"

Ramakant: "Ganpat, you took it in the wrong way. I know how annoying your daughter-in-law is. I'm afraid that even you would have to sit with me on this bench if I'll come to your place."

Ganpat: "If my fortune says so then I'll surely sit on this bench. We have spent so many years together then we will spend some more."

Ramakant: "No friend, my son's name would be affected in the society that even though he has a son, the father is staying at someone else's place."

Ganpat: "If you will sit here then it wouldn't be affected?"

Ramakant: "No friend. I'll go away somewhere else. Yeah, I'll travel holy places. Even life is remaining quite less. I'll go to some old age home."

Ganpat: "It never seemed that your Suresh will ever become like this?"

Ramakant said after thinking a bit, "No... No... Suresh is good, but it's just because..."

Ganpat said with anger, "its amazing friend. When we parents will improve? Your son said you to leave your house. And now you're wandering on roads, still, you're taking his side?" Then talking to himself Ganpat said, "One father can raise four boys easily, but four boys together couldn't take care of one father."

Ramakant said with displeasure, "Leave it, what is supposed to happen, it happens. There is no point in blaming boys for it."

Ganpat: "Ramakant, look. Such kids will surely get lessons one day. The man who couldn't take care of his father isn't human, he is an animal."

Ramakant: "Leave it. It isn't the fault of Suresh.. It's just because..."

Ganpat said with anger, "You're weird. The one who threw you out of your own house, You're appreciating your that son. Note it down; such son will get his dues paid one day for sure. The son who can't keep his parents with him, His own son will learn the same thing. Even Suresh's son will throw him out of his house...”

Ramakant said helplessly, "Ganpat I want to tell you the same thing. My son is good, but it's just because..."

(And Ramakant's thoughts flew back in past where he saw his parents begging to him to allow them to stay at his home.)
