Cheeku's Race With Tintu

Cheeku and Tintu were the bright kids of class VIII. They both were always competing with each other. It was a new chance for Tintu to prove himself yet again. While Cheeku wasn't really keen on winning in a sport competition. It used to be a close tie between Tintu and Cheeku when it came to academics.

All the teachers admired the way they both took it in the spirit of healthy competition. Only they both knew that it was all for their parents, and earning a name for them. On the inside, both wanted to have some play and fun too. It seemed like they didn't have a choice and both were tied to impressing their parent with highest score in the class.

They both were two standards away from facing the boards and yet their parents restricted them from all the fun for them to read and study well.

What their parents weren't realising was that they too are kids and little play doesn't do any harm.

Cheeku and Tintu planned together to confront their parents. They couldn't bear the thought of losing each other for marks. They took their teacher's help to convey this to their parents.

Their parents were shocked that they had put so much pressure on their kids. They realised their mistake. From then on, they listened to what their kids told too and they made sure they got good amount of study and play.
