A Sound Of Splash

It was drizzling in the night, roads had become depeopled because of being spongy and slippery. I was driving my car very slowly not because of the ghastly night but because of being lost in my thoughts. The speed of the car would have been 30 Km/hour, suddenly a weird sound of splashing could be heard. I thought something got stuck in the car but as I had noticed the sound it was of such kind which was not heard by me before, I thought something extraordinary. Meanwhile, I reached the speed breakers where I applied brakes, I could hear the sound of water which seemed to be flowing into my car. I checked again and again but not even a single drop of water inside the car. The same sound could be heard again when I applied the brakes. This kept on going throughout the way to my home. The next day, in the morning I found nothing stuck in the car. I decided to get the car checked by a motor mechanic but suddenly an idea dawned on me that I was lost in thoughts of writing a story while driving home at night though it had been a cloudless night.
