ଏ ଜୀବନ ସୁଧାମୟ
ଅନେକ ବେଦନା ହତାଶା ହେଲେ
ଏ ଜୀବନ ମଧୁମୟ ॥୦॥

ଯୁଗ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣାରେ ଜଳୁଛି ଜୀବନ
ପଦେପଦେ ପୁଣି ଜଗିଛି ମରଣ
ତଥାପି ଜୀବନ କେତେ ସୁନ୍ଦର
କେତେପୁଣି ରମଣୀୟ ॥୧॥

କେତେ ଦୀର୍ଘଶ୍ଵାସ ହୃଦୟ ଥରାଏ
ରୋଗ ବଇରାଗ ନିଇତି ଡରାଏ
ତଥାପି ଜୀବନ କେତେ ରଂଗୀନ
କେତେପୁଣି ପ୍ରେମମୟ ॥୨॥
