 લઘુકાવ્ય   નગર   તરસ   તડપ   દરિયા   ધરા   નભ 

નગર તરસે ને તરફડે છતાં અક્ષર ન બોલતું,

ઝંખ્યાં કરે છતાં હજું અવસર ન ખોળતું;

લાગે છે એની વાચાનું ઇચ્છા હરણ થયું,

દરિયો, ધરા ને નભ મળ્યાં તો યે ન દોડતું !
