Time Taught Me

When I was small I used to run,

I ran too fast even in the bright sun.

As I grew older I felt that I am getting wise,

Me brain was getting bigger in size!

When I noticed myself, I was a teen,

I remembered my past that I have seen.

It was all that time that made me like this,

Time gave me blessings and happiness in bliss.

As I grew older, till I grew old,

It was all that time that made me hold.

Time made me smile and made me cry,

But I never asked the time the question why?

When I was successful I started to proud,

I saw myself as a diamond in the crowd.

Time seized my powers all away from me,

It made me that what it wanted to see.
