Threatening Moves

Dull hunks announce the arrival,

Slow waves warn their rival.

Huge bodies pitch their trunks as they expand their grooves,

Elephants never prove as they don't want their threatening moves.

Smashing noise seems to signal they are coming,

Silent swishes seems to visualize their greeting.

Huge bodies walk past as they lift themselves to roofs,

Elephants never express as they don't want their threatening moves.

Not that they are in threat or feared,

Nor as they are loved or revered.

Loyal in their approach with their threatening moves saved for sight,

Those who have pride in them, for them they are real delight.

Not that they are attacked or killed,

Nor as they are protected or being happy and thrilled.

Pained for them even with those threatening moves not always coming in front,

Let's save their identity standing upright with their mighty grunt.
