Rigor Mortis, breathing

Knees failed me

Heart still beating,

Brightest of lights turn

From my prize

To my eyes, blinding.

The road back down,

Unwinding.

Please just let me

Open my eyes again

Take a look inside again.

No realization

The drop, after hanging sound

Leaving the skin of my face
