Equality to Men
Equality to Men
Well, there's this world I've imagined,
One image that I've filmed
One view that I've dreamed
And someday I wished it was deemed
18-year-old Raju, didn't like 47-year-old Neha back,
Neha dealt with it really maturely, she accused him of rape and attack
My middle-aged uncle travelling from his 12-hour job
Is always frowned upon in the bus
Because he didn't leave the seat for that lady,
Who was just returning from a stunning party.
My elder brother handles his fiance's mood swings
Because it's her those 5 days of month,
And all the attention she'll seek,
Because they say she has to go through alot.
And no one noticed the battles he has fought
Yet he smiles, like he's been taught.
Whenever my 6 year old brother would cry,
they'd shut him up, asking, "are you a girl??"
So he Pat his face dry and now knows that men don't weep.
But, on the contrary to popular belief, men to need relief.
So I just wanna say it's okay.
It's okay if the lady of the family is earning more
Or if your guy friend is crying.
It's okay if he wants to pursue being a chef instead of engineering.
We've heard poems articles speeches about women but how many of you have thought?
How many of you have thought that men too have fought?
We all want equal rights. And that isn't wrong
Trust me it's not
But why when it comes to equal responsibilities, we take flights?
So, why don't we try to make this world a better living place for every human being?
Let's try to make this place, a better living place for EACH AND EVERY HUMAN BEING.
