My Patients

The light you shine on me is so warming.

I've learned to become something new;

Half of a whole.

The bittersweet feelings I'm experiencing,

With my patients.

This is so special.

What are we even? I'd like to hear...

Your answer one day.

I like to call us more than friends,

With benefits.

We're friends that love each other.

Ignorance is Bliss.

People say we're just doctor and patients... 

I don't know if that's true

I know I'm yours ... 

And...

I'm always in reach, 

Ready to lend an ear,

I'll always be there to listen,

I'm letting you know, I care.

This poem turned out a lot longer than planned,

I expected just like the way we are...

What proves it is the moon and the stars --As we travel life's long road.

We meet, I treat and make new relationship .

And even though we may part...

The relationship never ends.  

You gave me a fresh start each day.

You gave me vision, you gave me hope .

You touched and healed my heart .

You gave me strength to do the things .

You knew that I could do... 

You inspired me in so many ways .

I can see the love for me in your eyes,in your voice.

The foetus I watch in your womb turns out to a lovely baby and cuddles me and fills my eyes with tears of joy.

I can't begin to repay you ...

Somehow you seem to know ...

And that is why I hope and pray,

Our relationship continues to grow.
