Excited I was to meet you again,

In the midst of the cloudy mountains,

With your presence around me I had,

Nothing to loose but everything to gain.

Your awesome smile, your amazing charm,

Your childlike behaviour, your holding my palm,

Your joyous laugh, your cheerfulness,

Did bring me a lot of calm.

I travelled, we met, everything was at such ease,

Together we lived some special memories,

Days went by and so did you,

Leaving behind a picture in which your hand I seize.

The special memories of you,

Will always bring a smile,

If only I could have you back,

For just a little while.

Then we could sit and talk again,

Just as we used to do,

You always have meant so very much,

And will continue to do too.

The fact that you are not with me anymore,
