Mother Is Cooking Food

Mother is busy adding affection in cooking,

Because She is the most loving and caring.

She never finds this work boring,

She teaches children to keep the food sharing.

When the food is simmering,

The pleasant aroma is quite adoring.

I cannot just keep glaring,

I cannot just keep staring.

Eating this food is always enchanting,

This tasty food is always relishing and refreshing.

How can I stop over-eating,

When the food is so mesmerizing.

Every time I finished eating,

What I forget is thanking and appreciating.

The good health which I kept gaining,

Is because of Her continuous slogging.

Everyday lunch is given to Lord Jagannath as Offering,

And this divine food is considered as His benevolent blessing.

Still, My Mother keeps adding affection in cooking,

And to Thank Her with gratitude after every meal is what I start realizing.

Love of The Mother for children is unending,

Looking at the food made everyday by Mother itself gives the memorable happy feeling !!
