Cleanse The Violence

We have heard of corruption,

We have heard of crimes;

We have seen natural interruptions-

Droughts and Famines.

We have heard, cries fade

Among the pandemonium of violence,

Helpless bodies crying out for aid

Not knowing that bouquets were now guns.

We have made the world ours;

Fell Eden with a gun's boom;

Now we'll take over the stars

Where humans rise and humanity sees Doom.

Let's make a ladder, hand by hand,

Give it a head start and help it climb,

Because above us it must take its stand,

Let's choose humanity to reign our minds
