A Shoe On The Roof
A Shoe On The Roof
I saw a shoe on the roof
From the window of my school
With my mates laughing at the sight
Saying the master of the shoe was such a fool
However, I was lost somewhere else
The shoe disclosed the secret of the roof
High stood the roof sheltering all
But its humility didn’t need proof.
I looked at the roof and then at my mates
I wish men also had such a heart
Laughter is all we have
But humans and submission are far apart
I concluded that in this world of materialism
There is false ego widespread
It's only the roof which can afford
To have a shoe over its head
