Indian Festivities

It was the month of October,

Festivals were in and around the corner,

Love and light illuminated the hope of every home,

Optimist minds re-started a new journey,

Eyes were glittery and soul was elated,

And the road sides knew the true colour of festivals,

As homelessness knew the real fun sharing the food with the stray dogs.

Far from the materialistic fun, delicious food, and cracker pollution;

They knew the ultimate love of festivals is embedded in sharing and caring.
