Arise

I wonder who formed the society,

Was it a colonist or some mythological deity?

Why do they segregate man from man,

We are all the same, one large human clan.

Missiles, bombs and an instigating speech, 

Hatred and malice are all that they preach.

How many more martyrs shall shed their gallant blood,

We have sacrificed so many that it has reddened the very mud.

Evil doesn't always come, slinging a machine gun,

Sometimes he's at a mic, sitting and watching all the fun.

For them, it's easy to accuse, condemn and blame,

When it comes to facing the bullets, they are the safest in the game.

Let's join hands citizens and bring an end to this hypocrisy,

Arise like a phoenix my brethren, arise as one true democracy.
