Saimon, Silence and Smile (part-2)
Saimon, Silence and Smile (part-2)
Returned home with a plethora of questions
Needling my head for which I couldn’t sleep.
Throughout the night puzzles pinched
And demanded to solve,
With a heavy head I got up from bed.
Holding a torch in my hand I started walking
While my mind was thinking.
I gazed at the stars while the moon was glaring at me.
Thinking all the time while it started pouring
I found my feet covered in mud as I was standing in a potter’s field.
Surprised I was to find a pair of eyes gleaming at me,
“Who could it be in the witching hour walking
Through the graveyard and staring at me?”
Thought to myself with bewildered eyes.
Being scared a bit moved forward and found
Saimon was hanging around in the mid of the night.
“Why was he there in the dark hours?”, I asked him.
Grinning at me, he hit me with the same question.
“As I couldn’t sleep and wanted some fresh air,
Walked for a while and found myself there.
But was perplexed to find you at the boneyard.”
Being baffled I replied and thought he might be a bard.
“I would tell the tale of life
That starts with death.”
Said that man
Hearing the same
I started walking like a dead-man.
A long time would it take to explain all the things
for which he said he would take some weeks
to answer such a contemplative question.
As the night was slipping
And day was coming
He promised to tell me
The story on the next day.
The answer in the next part……..
