Sanika Said
Sanika said, “I shall go to school when guests come,
Otherwise, they will wonder whether I study or not”.
Next day she said, “I shall not go to school or guests will say,
See we have come and Sanika doesn't want to meet us we thought.”
Sanika said, “My father is a barber”,
A barber by profession he can't be said I, her mother.
He takes no money, he has no shop
He is an engineer; he cuts hair only of you and for no one other.
Sanika said “Oh, I see how dad goes to office, he has laptop too!
But he shapes hair so well, he has all tools, he is a barber for me, that's true!”
Once a guest asked her, what father does all day, and promptly Sanika answered,
He goes to office to eat lunch from lunch boxes, a truth she had very well conquered.
A three year old, as wise as an owl, as quick as a breeze could be,
What glows in her eyes, what sinks in her soul, but is some tears some smiles for me.
