Smart Country

Smart Country

Trip to the village, on the local bus.

Its time for the festival where every

One gathers to meet together.

Granny smashing the betel nut and

Checking the well beings of others.

Green lush fields governed by farmers along with their bulls.

Water lushing on the banks of rivers,

With people enjoying their bath in the sunlight.

Kids with old tires, running on the street.

There were few lights in the street, and women were free to go at any time.

The infants sleeping in the saree cradle, tied to the branch of the tree,

Where the wind pacifies them,

As their mother's sing a song while doing their paddy work.

On the festival day, everyone joins to pay tribute to God.

Kids enjoying the ride, on the roller coaster, with no costly

Chocolates they contended with sticky sugar watches.

People gain deal on this day by selling their cattle.

It is a simple life with nature and wellwishers.

With the search for jobs migration happened.

The fields and cattle left to the mercy of the industry,

The weavers, pot makers, and the folk artist switched the job for livelihood.

The celebrations have changed to virtual where the village is vacant,

And social networks get engaged.

With the development of a smart country, transportation plays a role

By being laid on the graveyard of the villagers and farmers.

Once the backbone of the country, getting wiped out with the hold of corporate.

Whom should we blame?

Consumer or modern thinking?

Can an effort of consuming organic food help?

Can a student's project focus on civil, electronics, IT helps?

Will we be able to do something beyond

A share and forward with message save the village?

Why and how leads to the solution, think about them.

Be it small or big, make an initiative.
