Someone Asked Me!

Someone asked me - " How had you met him?"

I said - " I hadn't God did the magic!

Just met as strangers, totally unknown,

That someday this strangeness would turn into longingness!"

Someone asked me - " Who is he for you?"

I said - "I cannot explain in words!

You can see the smile I wear when I talk of him,

He is the blessing that brings about this widening of my lips!"

Someone asked me - " Do you love him?"

I said - " No doubts, no objections, I do!

Love is what I had got from him, endlessly,

Though possessiveless and earnestless, our love stays true and strong!"

Someone asked me - " Do you miss him?"

This time I didn't see anything,

Just closed my eyes and smiled with heart,

Turned around to leave from there,

And spoke in a low voice, - " A lot!"
