Me And Stars

Sleeping in a night

Saw “Queen of the Night”

Standing by my bedside.

She came on a unicorn

Wearing a beautiful dress

Studded with numerous gemstones

Decorated with fragrant flowers.

Before I could open my mouth

She abducted my soul

And gave me a royal horse to ride on.

It was snow white in colour

And the wings were of silver

We flew from the ground

Hiding above the cloud.

Happy I was to ride on a horse

Watching the ravishing sky

In the course.

The Queen told me that

I Could do anything I want

For which I painted the air

In rainbow hue with a tint of lustre.

Then we moved up and

See the stars twinkling at me

And I imagined all of them Closer to the earth.

We will not need any streetlights,

To light the streets throughout the night.

As the sun will come

before the stars go to sleep.

I talked to the stars

And asked them to come

Nearer to earth.

They granted my wish

And agreed to come

On one condition

If nobody looks at them.

After sometime

I opened my eyes

Astounded to find me in bed.

In the evening

I watched the sky

Expecting the stars

Come nearer to me.

As I was watching

A star came near

But caught fire

Before reaching near to me.

Watching these stars

Coming near earth

Catching fire and turning to ash

People named them shooting stars.
