Lays My Body

Wired, tired, lonely, depressed,

When I am high, my life is all messed,

Parents, siblings, friends don't matter,

Hopes, ambitions, future everything shattered,

The only thing that I ever need,

Is to let my addiction on my body feed,

And let it devour all my life,

And ruin all hopes for me to survive,

Seeing me enslaved, my loved one's cry, Seeing them suffer, I feel it's better to die,

I wanna make them feel proud, wanna get sober and clean,

But my extreme addiction always comes in between,

I attend sunday masses, play guitar with the choir,

I couldn't break free from the shackles of my cravings, my situation was dire,

I took an overdose, after calming my obsession for a few days,

Now forever in the graveyard, my twenty-year-old body lays.
