The Fissure

The Fissure

Wealth accepted,

Hearts accepted,

Families granted,

Resulted in the exchange of rings,

With the chain of trust, sharing of life started.

Then what happened, Taken for granted?

Break in communication, sensed lack of respect.

What once seemed to be a reason for falling in love, feels irritated?

Did love dry up, with stress and while making a livelihood?

No words, to lubricate the relation, the friction of silence heated up.

The child was the only glue of the family, but how long the adhesive can hold?

They separated, to guard their self-respect, on a mutual basis.

The gossip of society had a character assassination feast on the family in the meanwhile,

with trendy creativity at its best.

Wealth has got shared.

But how to share the love, for the child?

Is she also an object?

There is no fissure, worse than ego and anger.

Words meant out of anger, are just words when we know the person we love.

Find time to communicate, before the fissure spoils the relationship.

For a child, father and mother are equally important,

ten months of a difference doesn't make a complete difference.

Both of them carry, the children through their life in the heart.

As she is a sign of their love.

Once love was true, why not search it in the same place,

rather than seeking a new relationship?
