The world is a revolving sphere,

surrounded with pale, vague fears,

But the hope of survival is always there.

Hope of a woman to see her unborn one,

Farmer hoping for rain under the scorching sun.

Poor boy hoping for a better life,

Rich boy finding happiness in the race to survive.

Family hoping the return of their lieutenant son,

An orphan hoping to become someone's loved one.

Trader hoping for profits this year,

Hoping for a 'Yes' from his beloved dear.

Next time, a more respectable death;

Hopes the rape victim on her bed.

Next time, it's not the old age home

The old couple hopes.

Indeed the world has some

disturbing pale fears,

But the hope of survival is always there...
