Blue
Blue
And so I dived in,
Into the world of blue.
Scared, under the skin,
Saving my breath as I passed through.
The silence was deep,
And the light was glim.
How infinite was it,
To end it in a swim.
I felt the vastness, the warmth,
And the pressure of the sea.
Everything was surreal,
Everything was so free.
I felt immortal as I touched the bed,
The corals waved as I passed ahead.
How carefree I was to play with the sand
Far far away from the glum dry land.
Thousands of fishes moving past you,
And the crabs walking in a queue.
I was lost, lost in this creation,
Floating around and relishing the view.
I could hear my heartbeat slow down,
Moving in circles as I looked around.
It was time to go, but I wanted to stay
Paddling back as the sun showed the way.
I felt heavy, as I got out
Couldn’t stop smiling as I felt proud.
Goddam, this world is so full of wonders
For today in blue, I saw all the colors.
