A Much Needed Break!

No hustle-bustle, no noise pollution and no jammed up roads,

Only peace pervades, clearer lakes and strict hygiene followed,

Even pigeons are inventing their own tales,

And

Suddenly, the whole landscape has taken a newer shape!

Divided by religion, caste, class, race and what not,

But today, together we all stand, fighting against one common plague,

Even crows are wondering where the other beings are lost?

For

Suddenly, the whole of Mankind is locked up in their own homes!

Some are compelled to do work even from their homes,

Children, on the other hand, have a longer vacation, they had always craved for,

Some involved in Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Voot,

And

Suddenly, the others are found exploring their own selves alone!

Well, this pandemic has a supreme ego indeed,

For, till you step outside your homes, it won't even come closer to you an inch,

There might be now an increase in the number of cases of domestic fights indeed,

But

Suddenly, only a decrease in the number of patients shall be seen!
