Dream
Dream
Gazing deep in her eye,
Feels like on a calm hill I lay
The squally dusk and the humming birds
And a touch of soft grass and dried hay
She sulked in my thoughts
Like a crystal clear dusk essence
With a glimpse of her grin
The whole world stops with her presence
Her touch is a magic to me
Leaving me forever floating in infinity
It can heal a moribund soul
I can pledge it’s so pretty
And with the daybreak I rise
To realise it was a beautiful dream
But you have always been there
Like the flow of water in a trout stream
Again I will seek out of the dark
And out of the shade
I will be standing still at the horizon
Please come back before it fades
For I will again dream....
