It's The Whiskey Talking.
It's The Whiskey Talking.
It was my day, that night,
Holding a glass of whiskey,
Glancing at it with sheer silence,
Putting into it,
Ice cubes in an insane way,
I was dancing to the lyrics,
Cheap thrills.
And I heard a word,
Radio on, to which,
It recalled me the day,
I saw my first crush,
Without any thought.
I took my phone,
Typed a text,
Which I shouldn’t have,
Because the text was,
A proposal to her,
With all my feelings,
Conveyed beautifully.
And I wrote to her that,
I’ve been thinking about you,
All day and night.
And cheering the memories we spent,
During the school days,
Today, I am missing you even more.
And in my right senses, I am,
But our relationship is not as it was before,
I like to spend time with you,
Playing with your hair,
Like I used to do,
During our old childhood days,
I like to sit beside you.
And talk to you for hours and long,
Staring at the stars,
Counting them all over again,
I love you,
Just like a neat color,
A whiskey wears,
Surrounded by transparent walls.
I want to meet you,
And sleep in your arms,
As it is a nice day today,
And also, is your birthday,
As I am celebrating it,
But all this, I am joking,
Because it’s not me,
It’s the whiskey talking!
