Winter Love
Winter Love
Winter is all over here again,
Brushing the air with freezing cold
Cascading the trees with glistening snow
& quivering me with your thoughts.
Once adored, now shattered,
Your love left me abandoned.
The winters we spent warming our hearts
With melting love, blazing passion & adoring our souls
Are gone now, trembling me with bitter frostbite.
Dry kisses are in forlorn sleep,
In repeated recalls of your promises;
What happened wrong is all I can't find out.
Now my winter is tracing coziness
In between the void feels of poetries,
The aroma of leftovers cry in silence
Hiding in the yellow pages of my diary.
I loved you, love you & shall continue
The chain of love only for you,
The concatenation of feelings
Never stops to create an earthquake in my heart
& I don't prohibit them to do so.
Remember, I confessed
That your hurts are also redolently elegant
Just like your love, peacefully beguiling!
I never kept you out of my life,
Rather, You left me & I kept on going
Picking the broken pieces of your memories.
Winter is truly cold now,
& hot enough to burn the tip of my finger
Which I dipped in the coffee mug.
My love, my warmth is still left
Only waiting for your embrace to set ablaze
Again & again,
To create wintry heaven!
