A Bright Light

I envisioned a bright light

The light which splashed my face with its gentleness and purity

It removed the darkness, an escapade to a new horizon

A cherished dream which seemed fulfilled

Awestruck by its divinity, the aura made my soul a feather

A feather as free as a bird and as light as a fluffy cloud.

The dew drops it showered was fresh as the first rain after the scorching summer heat

My mind and soul unite together to make a new me

A new me who sets towards a new journey and a better tomorrow.

Oh, I thank you, the bright light to encircle me in your pious and pure halo

The pious halo, it spreads from me to you

Encircling us all as mother lovingly hugs her child

Whose cuddles and kisses make us feel so warm and blissful...
