The Life At The Airport

The life at the airport,

The modern means of transport.

I went there to pick up my friend,

I was looking around as the plane was still to land.

What an amazing place it is,

Full of people from different places,

Roaming around with their luggage and briefcases.

Few had just arrived,

Few still waiting for their flight.

Along with the travellers, their family members and friends were seen too,

They were happy that they met after a long time, another side, leaving them, there were sad faces too.

The airport is just the representation of the real world where we travellers spend our time,

We land, we meet other travelers, we then take off after spending time with them for a while.

The flight has fixed arrival and departure stations,

It's the travelers who have a different aim and destinations.

The only difference is you can travel multiple times by flight,

But in reality, you only can travel once which is a plight.

So, while looking at the life of the airport,

I had two missed calls in my cell phone,

My friend has arrived and is waiting alone.
