The Unending Journey!

Exhausted and weary,

I reach the ultimate crossroads of life,

Shattered and teary,

Agonized soul shrivels to escape further strife!

The tormenting journey,

Had made me more resilient,

Even when gloom was wrapped in glee,

It merely explained how life was simply transilient!

Road signs at every stage,

Though gave me some respite,

Some fears escaped from my secret cage,

Some mistakes left me vexed and contrite!

The long mysterious driveway,

Oft lined by prickly thorns and soft peonies,

Dead ends wickedly left me astray,

I fought with ordeals that never seemed to cease!

Talons of betrayal have always gripped me tight,

The aching heart now finds blissful solace in cacophonic chaos,

With labyrinths of silence, I put up a brave fight,

Poignant memories are the only panacea to heal the solemn loss!
