Strike One Day

Strike one day

 

I need someone to sing

My favorite song and bring

Same melody and rhythm

With sweet words in them

 

I am on death bed

And remaining as dead

Doctors have given hope to survive

But will I live more?

 

I have not given up

Any hope

For life’s end

I pray and send good wishes to all

 

If prayers can bring in

“Some happiness and recovery” is to be seen

I shall most probably be in same shape

As the sun goes up in sky

 

As the body is made of clay

We won’t know what shall be taken away!

But I know what the end shall be like

But I worry less as it has to strike one day
