Split Vision
Split Vision
It’s neither new nor unique
Which all of a sudden
Made me realize
The ultimate truth of life.
The Sun sets every evening,
Everyday I see the
Round shining,
Yellowish orange ball
Seems to go down
Through the window panes.
But today the branches
Of tree like open fingers
Have sieved the light
Of sun reaching me.
You must be wondering
What so special
Has happened which
Made me focus
Today on the broken
Yet complete periphery
Of the setting Sun.
I have read ‘Road Not Taken’
A number of times and felt
That there are always
Forks in life where
We have to decide upon
Which way to go.
But today, it’s not one
But many a paths, those
Have suddenly made
Themselves available
To the reach the sun.
The mystery unfolded
The ultimate Truth
Which is none but Death.
Yet we all travel
Different paths to
Reach our destination.
Depending on each one's
Frame of mind we can
Interpret the forged
Light reaching us.
Obstacles might be many
Yet the destination is one.
There is no denying
The fact that the Sun
Depicting the ultimate
Won’t deter from its place.
It’s we who have to
Jump, cross or side track
The hindrance
To reach our aim.
Some may find
Their vision
Absolutely clear one moment
While it might go hazy
The other moment.
But the target
Remains there.
We, the people
Have to enlarge the circle
Of our perspective
And visualize the
WHOLE fragmented
By temporary obstacles.
